Volunteers make it happen

Join the Team

If it wasn’t for our amazing volunteers, Oxford Pride wouldn’t happen.

We are looking for people to join our organising committee that helps put on Pride Day and the Pride festival. We particularly welcome applications from trans/non-binary/gender non-conforming people, people of colour, and people with disabilities, who are often underrepresented on Pride organising committees.

To stand for any vacant committee position you need to become a member of Oxford Pride and be at least 18 years of age, owing to restrictions on some Pride venues. Membership gives you voting rights at meetings but anyone is allowed to contribute ideas, and ask questions. To become a member of Oxford Pride Group, please complete our membership form.

Don’t think you have time for a committee position? Why not join us as a volunteer at some of our events during the year – it's a great way to meet new people and learn new skills. Due to Health & Safety and for Child Protection, all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Our next committee meeting is online on Monday 22nd November 2021 between 7pm & 9pm.
